Since all the action took place at school, you didn’t get to see Gretsky. So here he is, along with more proof that the story that inspired this cartoon is true!

Good one! I believe it, I believe it!!
Too cute!!!! Now we know that it actually does happen!!!
And I love that it’s a Berner. I have more than a few pictures of things shredded on my living room floor thanks to one of my mischievous Berners.
A spin on the dog ate my homework. My neighbor, a professor at a local college, had to tell the class that her dog (a young poodle) had ate THEIR homework.
Wonderful! What would boys do without their dogs to cover their tracks? And what would dogs do without their boys?
Dogs and kids, what a combo. I love how the drawing played out the story in the dialog boxes. Very nice.
So true! My Berner ate a cable bill
Awesome! My (also Bernese Mountain Dog) Geppetto ate two of my paychecks once. I left them in the car, on the dashboard and stepped out for a minute to drop a letter in the mail box. When I came back, the check were gone, and he was holding half on a check under his paws.
Here’s a pic and a video of my naughty Geppetto…

My keeshonden like to eat post-it notes with important phone numbers on them!
OH wow…..
Not only has my dog mangled homework, he attacks paper coming out of the printer. Homework with teeth holes in the corner is not unique.
What a riot….I saw the cartoon drawing itself and as soon as the word “proof” came up I automatically read it as “POOP”! My bad!
I posted this one in the teacher workroom. I worry about my dogs eating stuff that I bring home to grade!
I have a golden who has done that. He’s also eaten bills and savings bonds. My favorite one – and I still have it – is the Over Eaters Anon brochure that says “Before you eat that first compulsive bite” with a huge bite out of it. It’s still on my fridge.
Our westie ate our son’s report card when he brought it home. I guess it would have been ok with him if it had been a bad one but he was upset because he hadn’t shown it to his dad yet.
