Oh, That’s my Lola! She’s a biiig Saint Bernard, and she cowers at the vet. It’s ridiculous! But I understand her. When we adopted her, when she was 6 months old, she was very sick. So the visits to the vet were frequent, and there was always a needle waiting for her. Poor thing!

Here are pictures of her and a story on the day we adopted her: http://www.thedailytail.com/nonfiction/whatever-lola-wants-lola-gets/

That is very funny, and it is exactly what happens with two of our pups.

My yellow lab was like that too! He got so nervous he’d climb into our lap and somehow spontaneously shed heaps of yellow hair all over our clothes!

This is my dog with approaching storms. He tries to get “in my skin” with me!

This is was my dog Wylma yesterday – her first time getting a bath in the shower in my new place. When I called her – she took her sweet time coming up (which is never the case) close to the ground and with ears pinned!! Than I had to pick her up to put in the shower LOL. She is used to being washed outside with the hose, which is usually what happens since we live in Miami :)

With my dane, it would not have been the vet he was scared of, but all the little dogs there in the room with him. He’s terrified of anything smaller than him… which is a lot!!!
